Who?Ranfa,
very rare species of singer, was born in Florence in 1969, tries to go to
school and he goes there...running! As a matter of fact, sport
would be his first love, an activity in which he excels, as a young boy. Questions? 70 kilos of flesh stretching for 1,78m height
(!?) who likes, besides singing: drawing, cuddling his kids (Diego, Mirko and
Viola), reading comics, and sweating… while he teaches
‘spinning’ it’s his second or, perhaps, third job! A little bit of history... He start his activity as a singer in 1988, he tries his hand at singing
west coast music and covers of the Queen. Afterwards
he approaches different musical genres among which blues, funky, disco
music, musical (he is Jesus in Jesus
Christ Superstar, and Rocky in the Rocky Horror Show). But
it’s in the Hard Rock genre that he can better express his singing
qualities: he is finally able to perform songs which suits him completely
... a tenor repertoire at last !!! On the 14th April 2005 he had the honour of singing "Here I go
again" with the “real” guitarrists of the Whitesnake:
Moody & Marsden! He has founded and sang for 6 years, from 1999 . With the Purple
Sucker, coverband of the Deep Purple, which has 50 concerts to
its credit. |
He
has recorded a track with Mr.IAN
PAICE
!!! The outcome will be soon on a cd, in which you can also find a great
duet with the fabulous voice of The
House of Lords, James Christian. The guitarrist (ex Whitesnake) Bernie
Marsden. The guitarrist (ex Ronnie James Dio) Tracy G and many other

This is by all means the band he mostly holds dear.
Together since 1999, Ranfa and his top musician friends, present the most
famous songs and the not very famous songs, of the historic band Deep

This is the cover of the concert at the Teatro Aurora in Marghera on the 5th of February to celebrate 30 years since the publishing of The album BURN. This instead is the cover of the evening at theatre Aurora in Marghera on the 5th of February 2005.The money raised from the concert and the sale of the DVD are entirely given to the cultural association "I ragazzi della panchina" (The guys of the bench).
